An online html course proved invaluable as a start, followed by hands-on Dreamweaver, image optimization, Flash and SEO workshops. Then came WordPress, the open source platform I tend to lean on for most of my site development, and continue to learn everyday. With html and css knowledge, WordPress is easy to customize and my clients find it useful to be able to easily make minor edits to their own sites. To be able to accurately call myself a web developer, my goal is to be proficient at JavaScript as well as php by mid-2021.
